Artist Statement:

I sculpt space with light and sound. I mold a space into an experience that is shared by the audience. My power comes from connecting to my community. My art is a practice of maintaining that connection.

I also create in the intersection of art and archives. My work forms an archive of moments, communities, and ideas. The care I put into archiving the communities around me reflects the value I see in those communities.

As a queer woman of color, I exist in many intersections, and the layers in my work reflect the layers of my identity. Inspired by Frida Kahlo, I express my own reality.
